How it works

From “I’ve got a flat” to back on the road, in four steps. Nothing is charged when you post a request.

  1. Say where you are

Drop your pin, add a landmark a stranger could find, pick the problem and add photos if you like. Then set the price you’d like to pay.

  2. Get offers nearby

Verified providers close to you can accept your price or offer their own. Each offer shows their rating, distance and how soon they can get there.

  3. Pick one and track them

Choose the offer that suits you. Watch your provider on the map, check their vehicle and plate, and call or chat in the app.

  4. Pay and rate

When the job is done, pay by card or cash and add a tip if you want to. Then rate your provider so others know what to expect.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Where does MyTyrePlug work?

MyTyrePlug is for drivers in Jamaica. During the beta we’re starting in Kingston, St Andrew and Portmore, and adding areas as more providers join.

If you’re outside an area we cover yet, the app tells you before you post a request.

How do I pay?

You pay after the job, by card in the app or in cash to the provider. Nothing is charged when you post a request. All prices are in Jamaican dollars (JMD).

You can add a tip, and 100% of it goes to your provider. You pay the agreed price plus any tip, with no booking fee added.

How is the price decided?

You suggest a price when you post. Nearby providers can accept it or offer a different price. You see every offer with the provider’s rating and arrival time, and you choose. Nobody is booked until you accept.

Is it safe?

Every provider is verified with ID, TRN, a selfie and their vehicle details before they can make offers. You see their name, rating, vehicle and plate before they arrive, so you can check it’s them.

Your phone number stays private: calls and chat happen in the app. During a job you can share your live trip with someone you trust, and the SOS button lets you call 119 or reach our support team in one tap.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. iPhone is coming soon. For now, the beta is available on Android only.

How do I become a provider?

Download the Provider app, sign in with your phone number, and complete verification. Once you’re approved, top up your wallet, go online and start sending offers.

Something went wrong. How do I get help?

Use Help & support in the app, or email support@mytyreplug.com. In an emergency, call 119.

Get it before you need it.

Install the app now, so it’s ready the day you get a flat.
